Two separate cases of alleged sexual molestation were recorded in Bacolod City and Murcia last Monday.

Police have refused to disclose the identity of the victims, but confirmed they are 16 and nine years old.

Based on reports released by Bacolod City police, the 16-year-old female student was on her way to school when she met a man, said to be around 46-year-old, riding a bike.

The suspect proceeded to touch her, before fleeing on his bike.

The teen was traumatized by the incident and returned home to report the encounter to her mother.

The victim and her mother later visited an undisclosed police station to report the case.

Meanwhile, in Murcia, a still-unidentified suspect reportedly attempted to rape a nine-year-old girl. The victim, however, managed to free herself and immediately ran to her father, who reported the incident to Murcia municipal police.

The girl was later brought to a hospital in Bacolod City after reportedly suffering from several body aches./DGB, WDJ
