UNO-R hopes to clinch title today

After taking Game 1 of the Negros Basketball Association President’s Cup finals, Red House Taiwan Shabu Shabu/The University of Negros Occidental-Recoletos (UNO-R) will be looking to clinch the title today at 5:00 p.m. at the Bacolod Tay Tung High School hardcourt, when they meet Colegio de Sta. Ana de Victorias (CSAV) for Game 2.

In their prior meeting, Landry Zanjo scored a massive 49 points for UNO-R in their 80-74 win.

However, despite the result, Association Board President Dodong Bascon said he is happy with how the tournament went, particularly, after returning from a 15-year hiatus./JSG, WDJ
