JSY Countertrade takes title in OT

JSY Countertrade recently captured the Fil-Sino All Asian Countertrade, Inc. (AACI) Conference Inter-Company Basketball Tournament Class A title at the Bacolod Tay Tung High School gym, defeating AACI Transport in overtime, 66-65.

Control of the game fluctuated throughout the faceoff, which ended with a 57-57 draw at the end of regulation time.

Towards the end of overtime, JSY Countertrade took a 63-62 lead; however, AACI Transport rallied to a 65-63 lead with mere seconds left in the game.

Alvin Ricci Dionela brought on the heroics, landing a three-pointer with 0.2 seconds left on the clock, and sealing the victory.

Dionela led JSY Countertrade with 17 points, followed by Cesar Tan with 13.

Despite the loss, Arnol Laureño scored 20 points for AACI Transport./JSG, WDJ
