Bago City welcomed a new community environment and natural resources officer (CENRO) earlier this week as Engr. Joan Nathaniel Gerangaya took over for the outgoing Concordio Remoroza during a ceremony at the city’s CENRO at Bantayan Park.
After serving the position for over a year, Remoroza was reassigned to the Negros Occidental Provincial Environment and Natural Resources Office, where he will be handling special projects.
Gerangaya vowed to carry on the projects of his predecessor.
Meanwhile, Bago City Mayor Nicholas Yulo called it a “unique and historical” occasion having the opportunity to welcome two CENROs during his term./WDJ
