A suspected drug addict was rushed to a hospital after being reportedly stabbed early Saturday morning in Barangay 2, Bacolod City.

Police identified the victim as 36-year-old Jay-R Grijaldo, a resident of Purok Pag-isa, Barangay Bata in the said city.

Based on a statement provided by Grijaldo to Police Station 2 (PS2) investigators, around 3:20 a.m., he decided to visit Barangay 2 in order to get a “score.”

However, as he arrived, the victim was involved in an argument with the suspects, identified by the aliases ‘Tanoy’ and ‘Kevin.’

The suspects then allegedly assaulted him with a bladed weapon, stabbing him twice.

Grijaldo immediately fled the area and was later rushed to the Corazon Locsin Montelibano Memorial Regional Hospital for treatment.

PS2, meanwhile, are currently looking into identifying the real names of the suspects./DGB, WDJ
