Bacolod City Mayor Evelio Leonardia inducted the newly-elected officials of the Bacolod City Sangguniang Kabataan (SK) Federation during a ceremony at the Nature’s Village Resort in Talisay City earlier this week.
“This is a big privilege and opportunity,” he said to the youth leaders.
The mayor also called on the local officials to be agents of change.
The winners include Ayesha Joy Villaflor of Barangay 6 as president, Julia Marie Rile of Barangay 2 as vice president, Fercy Lyn Almaiz of Barangay Mansilingan as secretary, Reymar Berja of Barangay Alijis as treasurer, Danna Michaela Perma of Barangay Singcang-Airport as auditor, Shaine Jezreel Solidum of Barangay Villamonte as public relations officer, and Jericho Malagsic of Barangay Handumanan as sergeant-at-arms.
All federation officials ran unopposed.
Meanwhile, Bago City also inducted their city SK Federation.
Carl Benedict Y. Baylon of Barangay Poblacion was inducted as president, Blessel M. Malabor of Barangay Dulao as vice president, Sean Cedric J. Montero of Barangay Don Jorge – secretary, Carl Jorge M. Agustin of Barangay Busay – auditor, Czyrr L. Espende of Barangay Sampinit – public relations officer, and Arms Kevin D. Perez of Barangay Caridad – sergeant-at-arms.
