Iloilo City National High School (ICNHS) received six 8×8 combat sports mats last week from the city government.

“The equipment will be used for safety and conditioning of students who play combat sports,” said Iloilo City Mayor Jose Espinosa III.

ICNHS faculty member Regina Escueta said the mats can be used for training in arnis, taekwondo, wushu, and gymnastics.

She said the donation will contribute to better performances by student-athletes./WDJ
