Miriam College, KNF-Cebu favored in their matches

Miriam College and KNF-Cebu are favored to reach the finals of the 1st Sagay City Marañon Youth Cup, currently taking place at the Sagay City National High School football field.

As of press time, Miriam College is playing Sagay North Negros in the Girls 18 semifinals; meanwhile, in the Boys 16 division, KNF-Cebu is scheduled to play Bayawan in the semifinals.

Miriam College coach Bob Manlulo called the Sagay City competition the “king of tournaments,” saying it will served as a great help in developing women’s football in the country.

“This tournament is a good start to strengthen the women’s football in the country,” he explained./JSG, WDJ
