Bago City Police Station anti-drug operatives seized P170,000 worth of suspected shabu during a late Monday afternoon buy-bust operation in the city’s Barangay Don Jorge Araneta.

Police identified the arrested suspect as 37-year-old Rodel Llupar, a resident of Purok Cagaycay in Barangay 2, Bacolod City.

Bago City police chief, Police Chief Inspector Joeffer Cabural, said operatives moved in after the suspect handed over one big sachet of suspected shabu in exchange for P25,000.

A search of the suspect further yielded four more big sachets of suspected shabu. Police also seized Llupar’s motorcycle, which was allegedly used for carrying illegal drugs.

The drugs weighed about 25 grams.

Llupar is currently detained at the Bago City Police Station is faces illegal drugs charges./DGB, WDJ
