Over 250 members of the Philippine Military Academy (PMA) Class of 2020 are in Negros Occidental, where they will tour Bacolod City and Bago City and setup recruitment booths, conduct community development programs, launch the Host Parents Program in the province, among other activities.

While in Bago City, the cadets will lay a wreath at the monument of General Juan Araneta and conduct a clean-up event in Barangay Sampinit. In Bacolod City, they will conduct a tree growing in Barangay Alangilan.

The Host Parents Program will be launched in Bago City’s Bantayan Park tomorrow, May 19.

The program offers cadets a second home and offers an opportunity to socialize with others. Meanwhile, host parents monitor cadet performance and provide advice and moral support.
