Victorias City-based boxer Richard Claveras will challenge World Boxing Association (WBA) Oceania super flyweight champion Andrew ‘The Monster’ Moloney tomorrow, May 19, at the Malvern Town Hall in Stonnington, Australia.

This is the Negrense fighter’s first international title bout since losing the Oriental Pacific Boxing Federation (OPBF) flyweight title fight to Keisuke Nakayama via split decision in Tokyo, Japan last year.

“We have prepared well for this fight,” Claveras said.

Meanwhile, Moloney, who will be defending his belt for the eight time, said of his opponent, “He has a come forward style and lets his hands go.”/JSG, WDJ
