Around P150,000 worth of suspected shabu was confiscated after agents from the Philippine Drug Enforcement Agency (PDEA) and the Negros Occidental Police Provincial Office-Provincial Drug Enforcement Unit (NOPPO-PDEU) presented a search warrant Saturday afternoon against a suspected drug personality at Zone 2 in Barangay Bacuyangan, Hinoba-an.

PDEA agents from both Regions 6 and 7 took part in the operation.

Police identified the suspect as 62-year-old Armando Indino, a resident of the said area.

NOPPO-PDEU operatives said they executed a search warrant issued by Judge Rodney Magbanua of the Kabankalan City Regional Trial Court-Branch 61.

During the search, agents recovered three big and 10 elongated sachets of suspected shabu, weighing around 30 grams.

Following the operation, Indino was arrested for possession of illegal drugs.

The suspect is presently detained at the Hinoba-an Municipal Police Station./DGB, WDJ
