Smart Communications recently donated a digital learning package to students at Trangka Elementary School, located in Maasin, Iloilo.
The program provides a “School-in-a-Bag,” which is comprised of a big backpack containing a laptop, tablets, TV, a solar panel with batteries, pocket Wi-Fi, and educational content.
“The students will definitely be more interested to go to school now,” said English teacher Dexter Masiado. “They have not yet been introduced to 21st century tools like tablets, laptop, and the internet.”
“School-in-a-Bag” is provided in remote communities, including those without electricity, to help enhance learning for students.
To date, a total of 38 “School-in-a-Bag” units have been delivered nationwide./WDJ
