The Bacolod City Police Office (BCPO) urged voters participating in Monday’s barangay and Sangguniang Kabataan (SK) elections to show up to their respective polling precincts early.

BCPO spokesperson, Police Senior Inspector Armilyn Vargas, said voters would have ample time to look for their names at polling precincts if they show up early.

She also pointed out, names will be posted by Commission on Elections (Comelec) officials on Sunday and would be available for viewing before the scheduled elections the following day.

Vargas also appealed for voters not to engage in vote buying or selling, and to report such incidents to police.

She added, police assistance desks will be located outside polling stations and voters should not hesitate to approach them should they have inquiries or concerns./DGB, WDJ
