The Bacolod City Veterinarian Office reported, between January and April, 19,000 dogs in the city were administered rabies vaccinations as part of the ongoing mass rabies vaccination campaign.

City Veterinarian, Dr. Ma. Agueda Dela Torre, said the campaign has already conducted vaccinations in Barangays Taculing, Singcang-Airport, Tangub, Pahanocoy, Sum-ag, Punta Tay-Tay, Cabug, and Alijis.

The campaign is currently in Barangays Handumanan and Felisa.

Last month, Dela Torre affirmed their office was equipped with 500 vials of anti-rabies vaccines, which amounts to 50,000 doses./WDJ
