Western Visayas takes women’s volleyball titles

The Western Visayas secondary girls’ and collegiate women’s volleyball teams captured their respective titles at the 2018 National Private Schools Athletic Association (PRISAA) meet in Tagbilaran, Bohol, beating Calabarzon in both divisions.

Bacolod Tay Tung High School (BTTHS) led the secondary girls’ team in their 25-11, 25-13, 25-7 win.

“They want this to be memorable,” said BTTHS Vice President for Sports Jose Montalbo. “[They] will have this achievement as their inspiration.”

The Central Philippine University-led collegiate women’s team won 25-17, 17-25, 25-19, 25-15./JSG, WDJ
