The Tourism Promotions Board (TPB) recently revealed Bacolod City will host the 2018 Meetings, Incentive Travel, Conventions, and Exhibitions (MICE) Conference in August.

“This is really big in the tourism world,” the mayor said. “This is like a new discovery that can catapult our city to unprecedented heights of the tourism industry.”

According to Bacolod City Councilor Em Ang, who chairs the Sangguniang Panlungsod Committee on Tourism, the conference will attract around 600 participants.

“The infrastructure, support services, and amenities make Bacolod ideal for our event,” TPB Chief Operating Officer Cesar Montano said in a letter to the mayor.
