Silay City, Bacolod City dancers win the Latin dancesport competition

 

Dancers from Silay City and Bacolod City took top honors in the recent 2018 Latin Dancesport Competition, an event of the ongoing Panaad sa Negros Festival.

Carl Vincent Besonia and Rosalinda Pacumba of Silay City won the amateur division; Anthony Arbolante and Racheal Amparo, also from Silay City, took the special event/senior category; while Fledmar Natu-el and Riyan Ysabel Gargaritano of Bacolod City won the juvenile division.

Meanwhile, Cadiz City dancers came in second place in two divisions. Ralph Nasis and Christine Rose Cruta took runner-up honors in the amateur division, while Jan Rene Encarguez and Kristal Mae Villaro earned the same position in the special event/senior category.
