Isabela Mayor Joselito Malabo yesterday confirmed Ilocos Norte Governor Imee Marcos will be arriving on Friday as guest of the ongoing town fiesta celebration.

Activities scheduled for Friday, Liga ng Barangay Day, include the Kasalan ng Bayan, or mass wedding; and the Search for Lin-ay sang Isabela.

Malabor added, the Grin Department, a band from Manila, arrived yesterday for a concert.

He stressed, the band will have a concert today, dubbed “Musika para sa Pagbabago,” aimed at raising funds for local senior citizens.

Proceeds from the concert will also be used to refurbish the town’s Senior Citizens Office.

This year’s theme, “Tumandok, Ugyon Kita sa Kadalag-an kag Kauswagan sa Banwang tinubuan,” seeks to acknowledge the history and culture of the town./DGB, WDJ
