A woman allegedly shot her live-in partner late Sunday evening during an argument at Sitio Umabay in Barangay Tan-awan, Kabankalan City.

Police identified the victim as 57-year-old Rogelio Medez, a resident of the said barangay.

Based on the victim’s statement, he and the suspect, identified as 63-year-old Marita Pasilan, argued over financial issues.

Pasilan then allegedly pulled out a .38 caliber revolver and shot Medez in the stomach.

The suspect fled the house, while neighbors rushed Medez to a hospital in Bacolod City.

Kabankalan City police are presently conducting a manhunt operation against Pasilan./DGB, WDJ
