Seven dengue-related deaths recorded in Negros Occidental since January

The Provincial Health Office (PHO) Negros Occidental Health Surveillance Office (NOCHESS) reported a total seven deaths have been recorded in the province this year since January.
According to recent data, four fatalities were from Cadiz City, two of which died last month.
The other fatalities were recorded in Bago City, La Carlota City, and EB Magalona.
Compared to the same period last year, the number of deaths is higher by two.
In terms of dengue patients, the number is also higher than the same period last year at 779, up from 665./DGB, WDJ
