Festival costumes on display

 

Festival costumes from across Negros Occidental are currently on display at the Panaad Stadium, ahead of the Festival Costume Display Competition, part of the upcoming Panaad sa Negros Festival, which opens on Saturday, April 14.

The annual competition presents costumes worn during various Negros Occidental city and town festivals.

The contest is divided into indigenous and colorful festival categories.

Criteria for judging include creativity and design, use of indigenous materials, craftsmanship and durability, color, harmony and texture, appropriate mannequin stand, and label./WDJ
