The Children Learning Center, which is run by the Iloilo City government, held their Recognition Day and Moving-Up Exercises last week, where 28 children graduated.

“This center is helpful to parents,” said City Population Officer Mary Ann Ramos, who supervises the facility. “They can just leave their children here at the center and let our staff teach them.”

Students were also awarded for punctuality, friendliness, cooperativeness, grooming, behavior, diligence, and cooperation.

France Elise Tan and Dirk Caleb Pedroza each received medals for Outstanding Pre K-1 and Pre K-2, respectively.

The facility caters to the children from City Hall employees with Pre K-1 education for children three years old to three years old and 11 months, along with Pre K-2 education for children four years old to four years old and 11 months.

Enrollment is ongoing for summer classes and the 2018-2019 academic year./WDJ
