Police Regional Office-6 (PRO-6) appointed a new spokesperson yesterday.

In a statement by outgoing spokesperson, Police Superintendent Gilbert Gorero, he said Police Chief Inspector Joem Malong would replace him as the new Regional Public Information Office head.

Gorero said he was leaving the position in order to further his education in order to advance within the Philippine National Police (PNP).

He also expressed his appreciation to the community, adding, his experience as spokesperson gave him a wider perspective of his responsibility and commitment to serve the region’s residents./DGB, WDJ
