Presidential  Task Force on Media Security executive director, Undersecretary Jose Joel Maguiza Sy Egco, is expected to serve as guest of honor and speaker during the Negros Press Club  induction and oath-taking ceremony next week, April 11, at the SMX Convention Center at SM City Bacolod.

Prior to his current position, the government official served as assignment editor for The Manila Times.

Meanwhile, the press club officials scheduled to be inducted include Renato Duran as president; Erwin Nicavera as vice president; Dolly Yasa – secretary; Glazyl Masculino – treasurer; Elsie Jolingan – auditor; and directors Chrysee Samillano, Edgar Lucasan, Aquilino Ciocon, Jemlo Victosa, Merlinda Pedrosa, Eric Magbanua, Owen Bayog, Hernand Garciniego, and Martian Muyco./DGB, WDJ
