Sipalay City’s 7th most wanted arrested

Sipalay City’s seventh most wanted was arrested late Monday afternoon by operatives from the Criminal Investigation and Detection Group (CIDG) at Phase 1 in Barangay San Miguel, San Jose Del Monte, Bulacan.

Police identified the suspect as 32-year-old Lorgie Camit, a native of Sipalay City.

Based on reports released by the Negros Occidental Police Provincial Office (NOPPO) yesterday morning, a warrant of arrest was issued by Kabankalan City Regional Trial Court-Branch 61 against the suspect on the crime of rape, with no bail recommended.

The warrant was signed by Judge Rodney Magbanua on August 22, 2017.

Camit was tracked down through a joint operation between the Central Luzon CIDG and Police Regional Office-6 intelligence operatives.

The suspect is expected back in Negros Occidental to face trial, but is presently detained at the CIDG office in Bulacan./DGB, WDJ
