The family of slain overseas Filipino worker Joanna Daniela Demafelis are demanding her former employers be extradited to Kuwait to face the death penalty.

The call was made after a Kuwaiti Court sentenced Nader Essam Assaf and his wife, Mona Hassoun, to death by hanging.

While the family welcomed the development, her eldest brother, Joejet, said the husband and wife are not even in Kuwait.

“Paano sila hahatulan?” Joejet asked.

Assaf is reportedly in Lebanon currently, while his wife is in Syria.

The Demafelis family is asking the government if they could be flown to Kuwait in order to see the husband and wife responsible for their relative’s death./WDJ
