Negros Occidental Governor Alfredo Marañon, Jr. encouraged local residents to participate in Earth Hour 2018, which is scheduled to take place tomorrow, March 24.
Earth Hour is an annual global event conducted by the World Wildlife Fund (WWF), where individuals, communities, households, and businesses are encouraged to turn off non-essential lights from 8:30 p.m. to 9:30 p.m.
To date, over 7,000 cities and more than 170 countries and territories participate in the event./WDJ
