Cobra beats Sunkist, advances to Class B quarterfinals

Cobra recently defeated Sunkist, 74-65, advancing to the Class B quarterfinals of the ongoing Fil-Sino Athletic Club Asia Brewery Invitational Cup 2018 at Bacolod Tay Tung High School.

The eventual winners took an early 21-8 lead in the first period. They continued to carry the momentum throughout the subsequent quarter, going into halftime ahead 33-22.

Cobra eventually kept pace through to the end of the game.

Jeremy Coo led the win with 19 points, followed by Brix Arrobang with 14 and Bobil Alagaban and Alvan Rodriguez each scoring 12.

In the other game, Absolute beat Coco Fresh, 67-40.

Archie Bayquin led the victory with 14 points, followed by DK Equipaje and Andre Tan each adding 11 and Edward Uy scoring 10./JSG, WDJ
