Cauayan-native Jay-r Raquinel dethroned Keisuke Nakayama of Japan earlier this week at the Korakuen Hall in Tokyo, Japan, capturing the Oriental and Pacific Boxing Federation (OPBF) flyweight title.

Raquinel, who remains undefeated, won after the fight was stopped in the ninth round.

After landing a couple combinations in the opening rounds, a solid right from the Negrense fighter resulted in Nakayama falling to the canvas./JSG, WDJ
