Power interruption tomorrow

The Central Negros Electric Cooperative, Inc. (Ceneco) will be conducting maintenance activity on the Burgos Feeder 2 (BF2) tomorrow, March 14, in order to ensure stability of distribution lines to avoid further serious damages that may result in major interruptions.

 

Schedule: Tomorrow (March 14) from 5:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.

Reasons: 

  • Stringing of 69KV transmission lines and installation of Air-Break Switch mechanism along Our Lady of Candles (portion), to C.L. Montelibano Ave., Circumferential Road, Bacolod City
  • Replacement of rotten poles along Capitol Heights Sambag St. to C.L. Montelibano Ave., Circumferential Road, Bacolod City
  • Line clearing along Our Lady of Candles to C.L. Montelibano Ave., Circumferential Road, Bacolod City

Areas Affected: Portion of Our Lady of Candles and Capitol Heights, from Sambag Street to C.L. Montelibano Avenue; and Circumferential Road

 

Electricity consumers are further advised, in the event of any power interruption, electrical switches should be turned-off for safety reasons. When electricity supply resumes, please provide about 10 to 15 minutes before switching on all electrical appliances and facilities to avoid power surge.
