Task Force Buglas, which ensures coordinated quick response to disasters and terror threats, recently held a planning workshop for the group’s upcoming projects, programs, and activities this year.
Task Force Buglas executive director Dr. Ma. Lina Sanogal, who also serves as provincial planning and development coordinator, said the group seeks to conduct programs that protect peace and security.
“All that we do [with] Task Force Buglas [is] for the benefit of the Negrenses, especially those in the countryside,” she said.
Meanwhile, Provincial Consultant Jon Aying said the workshop seeks to equip task force groups for any peace and security threats and challenges.
Groups that fall under Task Force Buglas focus on subjects including anti-criminality, critical infrastructure and bio-physical security, internal security, coast watch, humanitarian assistance and disaster response, communication, and information and education advocacy./WDJ
