Bacolod City Police Office (BCPO) director, Police Senior Superintendent Francisco Ebreo, yesterday said they are finalizing deployment plans ahead of the observance of Holy Week, which takes place this year from March 25 to April 1.
In a press conference, Ebreo said police will be deployed to various areas of convergence in the city such as churches, transport terminals, shopping malls, and local tourist spots as part of “Oplan: SumVac.”
Ebreo also said the recent augmentation of 200 additional officers from Police Regional Office-6 (PRO-6) will greatly improve police visibility during Holy Week.
He added, police assistance desks will also be set up at places of convergence./DGB, WDJ
