Canlubang looks to capture regular men’s competition

After Canlubang won the Philippine Airlines (PAL) Interclub Golf Senior Tournament last weekend, the team is looking to take the PAL Interclub Regular Men’s Championship, which begins tomorrow, March 8, at the Negros Occidental Golf and Country Club in Bacolod City.

“[Manila Southwoods] is still the overwhelming favorite,” said coach Boyet Zaragoza. “[But] being the underdogs actually takes some of the pressure off.”

“We have a great chance,” he added.

The Bacolod City course will host the first and finals rounds, while the Bacolod Golf and Country Club in Murcia will host the other rounds./JSG, WDJ
