The Police Regional Office-6 (PRO-6) recently assigned an additional 276 police officers for the Negros Occidental Police Provincial Office (NOPPO).
NOPPO spokesperson, Police Inspector Charmae De Paz, said the officers are members of Class Masiklab and Class Dakila.
De Paz said the 276 cops will be deployed to 12 city police stations and two type-A municipal police stations, which refers to a police station headed by an officer holding the rank of superintendent.
NOPPO director, Police Senior Superintendent Rodolfo Castil, Jr., meanwhile, said the new officers would be assigned to conduct patrol duties in their respective areas in an effort to improve police visibility and security in the province./DGB, WDJ
