After trailing at the end of opening day, defending champion Luisita Golf Club pulled ahead in the Philippine Airlines (PAL) Interclub Golf Senior Tournament at the Bacolod Golf and Country Club, a par 70 course located in Murcia.

Despite landing three birdies, a double bogey left Eddie Bagtas with 52 points; however, it contributed to Luisita taking a two point lead over Canlubang.

In addition, Rafael Garcia scored 50 points, with Luis Laureta adding 47.

Luisita finished the day at 149, ahead of Canlubang’s 143.

The defending champions currently hold a total score of 295, compared to their rival’s 293./JSG, WDJ
