At least P600,000 worth of shabu was seized from two drug suspects Wednesday evening in Barangay 28, Bacolod City.
Police identified the suspects as Ginna Mariaga, a resident of Barangay 31, Bacolod City; and her brother Ismael Mariaga, a resident of Bago City, Negros Occidental.
Bacolod City Police Office (BCPO) director, Police Senior Superintendent Francisco Ebreo, said Ginna is a newly-identified high value target, while her brother Ismael is reportedly a member of the Sacar Untao Sub Drug Group of the Kamalia Caunda Drug Group.
The BCPO director said the operation was conducted by the City Drug Enforcement Unit (CDEU). led by Police Superintendent Nassrudin Tayuan.
Anti-drug operatives recovered eight big sachets of shabu with a combined weight of 40 grams.
