Police nabbed an individual considered a high-value target by the Philippine Drug Enforcement Agency (PDEA), along with his suspected runner, following a buy-bust yesterday afternoon at Purok Cagaycay in Barangay 2, Bacolod City.

Police identified the target as 22-year-old Vincent Dayret, and the runner as 20-year-old Joemel Yasas, both residents of the said barangay.

Police Station 2 (PS2) commander, Police Chief Inspector Benedicto Villarias, said, last year, police urged Dayret to stop engaging in illegal drug activities through “Oplan: Tokhang,” however, police continued to receive information suggesting he was continuing his illicit business.

Villarias said they recovered five elongated sachets of suspected shabu worth at least P5,000.
