An estimated P200,000 worth of belongings were either damaged or destroyed after a fire broke out at Purok Fatima in Barangay Sum-ag, Bacolod City.

In a statement provided by homeowner Anabelle Ginabo to the Bacolod City Bureau of Fire Protection (BFP), her home’s electrical line, located on the roof, accidentally snapped.

The resulting sparks caused a fire, which initially spread through her bedroom, before engulfing the whole house.

No one was injured in the incident and firefighters managed to quell the blaze within minutes of arriving./DGB, WDJ
