Buyer of P6.4B shabu shipment arrested in Iloilo

According to the National Bureau of Investigation-Region VI (NBI-6), the suspected recipient of a P6.4 billion shipment of shabu that entered the country last year was recently arrested by authorities in Iloilo.
NBI-6 director, Atty. Max Salvador, identified the suspect as Eirene Mae Tatad.
In an interview with Aksyon Radyo Iloilo, the local NBI chief said Tatad was served an arrest warrant, issued by the Regional Trial Court- Branch 46, in relation to suspected drug smuggling.
The suspect was flown to Manila yesterday morning and presented to the national media./WDJ
