The Bacolod City Police Office (BCPO) recently announced a 57 percent increase to police-initiated operations between January 1 to 22, as compared to the same period last year.
In a statement released by the BCPO, records indicate operations were conducted against illegal drugs and illegal gambling.
The credited the increase to mobile and beat patrol deployment, police visibility, and intensification of the campaign against illegal drugs and illegal gambling./DGB, WDJ
