The Bacolod City Sangguniang Panlungsod passed a resolution during their regular session yesterday requesting Bacolod City Mayor Evelio Leonardia and the city’s barangay captains to implement the Palarong Pambarangay (Barangay Games) and the subsequent PamBacolod (Bacolod Games), in accordance with the Bacolod Sports and Development Ordinance of 2011.

The resolution, authored by City Councilor Caesar Distrito, noted, “The sports project will serve as a venue for many sports enthusiasts.”

The events are scheduled to take place in May, with the winners of the Palarong Pambarangay advance to compete in the PamBacolod./NC, WDJ
