Vallacar Transit Incorporated (VTI), parent company to the Ceres Liner bus, announced fare hikes, which they attribute to rising petroleum prices as a result of the Tax Reform for Acceleration and Inclusion (TRAIN) Law.
VTI Legal and Media Relation Manager  Jade Marquez Seballos said in a statement, “The fare increase is certain to follow the prescribed old fare matrix of the Land Transportation Franchising and Regulatory Board (LTFRB).”
She added, increased prices for basic goods have affected company operations./JJA, WDJ
