Bacolod City-based Sam Josef Belangel recently scored 20 points in the University Athletic Association of the Philippines (UAAP) Juniors Basketball Tournament, leading Ateneo de Manila University (AdMU) over Far Eastern University-Diliman, 68-65, at the Filoil Flying V Centre in San Juan City.

The win helped AdMU maintain their undefeated 10-0 record.

Also scoring for AdMU were Kai Sotto with 16, Joaqui Manuel – 12, and Dave Ildefonso – 11.

National University is currently second in the standings with a 7-2 record, followed by the University of Santo Tomas at 5-4./JSG, WDJ
