The Bacolod City government recently turned over 218 fire extinguishers to 54 public elementary and secondary schools throughout the city, as part of a project by the local school board.
Each school received between three to five units, while Bacolod City National High School was provided with 12 fire extinguishers and the Education and Training Center School received 25 for their three locations.
