Religious events continue with Sto. Niño Mass for barangay children today

The ongoing religious activities associated with the Dinagyang Festival in Iloilo City, which is celebrating its 50th anniversary this year, continue with the Sto. Niño Mass for barangay children at the San Jose Placer Parish Church today, January 20, from 8:00 a.m. to 12:00 noon.
The image of Sto. Niño is scheduled to arrive in Iloilo City on Monday, January 22, where it will visit the University of San Agustin, followed by a mass and veneration at 12:00 noon.
The following day, the image will travel to the Magdalo campus of St. Therese-MTC College, the Iloilo Provincial Capitol, St Joseph School Iloilo, Inc., and the Oton Church.
The image leaves on Wednesday, January 24, after visits to the Tigbauan campus of St. Therese-MTC College, the Peñaflorida Factory, the John B. Lacson Foundation Maritime University, and Robinsons Place Iloilo.
Concurrent with the festival highlights, scheduled from January 26 to 28, the fluvial procession from Fort San Pedro to Customs House will take place on the 26th, the Grand Religious Sadsad in front of the San Jose Placer Parish Church is set for the 27th, and the Concelebrated High Mass is scheduled for the 28th at the same parish church.
Meanwhile, Sto. Niño Masses have been celebrated every morning since January 17 and are expected to continue until Thursday, January 25./PLL, WDJ
