Two people were arrested by anti-drug operatives from Police Station 3 (PS3) last Saturday after conducting a buy-bust operation at Purok Paraiso, Sitio Sibucao in Barangay Banago, Bacolod City.

Police identified the suspects as 42-year-old Mark Montinola, a resident of 7th-Lacson Streets in the said city; and 36-year-old Lelanie Acebedo, a resident of said barangay.

PS3 station commander, Police Senior Inspector Jun Ray Batadlan, said the raid was conducted during the early morning hours of Saturday, after the suspects handed one big sachet of suspected shabu in exchange for P1,000.

A search of the suspects yielded the buy-bust money and three other elongated sachets of suspected shabu.

The two suspects face illegal drugs charges and are presently detained at PS3./DGB, WDJ
