A man was found dead beside a riverbank at Hacienda San Juan Del Monte, Purok Narra in Barangay Malingin, Bago City, Negros Occidental on Tuesday afternoon.
The fatality was identified as 65-year-old Eddie Marañon, who lived beside the riverbank.
Initial investigations found the victim drowned while fishing the night before.
Authorities said there is no indication of foul play.
The victim was brought to the hospital but was declared dead on arrival./NC, WDJ
