After it was found only 20 out of 61 Bacolod City barangays were participating in the ongoing Business One-Stop Shop (BOSS), which is taking place at the Bacolod City Government Center until January 20, City Executive Assistant Samuel Montoyo yesterday said officials not taking part will face administrative charges.
The program, which seeks to provide faster and convenient business permit registration and renewal, expected barangay officials to be present in order for business owners to obtain barangay clearances.
Montoyo said their actions will also be part of a complaint filed with the Office of the President and the Department of the Interior and Local Government.
BOSS runs from Monday to Saturday, from 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m./NC, WDJ
