Two carpenters injured after being electrocuted in Victorias City

Two carpenters were injured after being electrocuted while at work in Barangay 6A, Victorias City, Negros Occidental on Wednesday.

The victims were identified as 45-year-old Rodel Ondong, Sr., and 21-year-old Roland Ondong.

Initial investigations by police showed the two were repairing a roof when one of them was operating a drill and accidentally came into contact with a Northern Negros Electric Cooperative, Inc. (Noneco) line.

The victims suffered electrical burns and were brought to the hospital for treatment./NC, WDJ
